How does an 8 year old named Victor become a YGG? He goes home after school and teaches adults how to play videogames. And he’s not cheap. He costs $25/hr, some of the people in his entourage earn up to $65/hr! Can you imagine pulling in money like that at 8 years old?
18 year old Tom Taylor dropped out of high school and now makes $45 an hour teaching professional basketball players how to kick ass in Halo 2.
To tie this into my previous post about shopping for the right customers before you jump into a project, you have to ask yourself, “who would spend $45/hr to learn how to play videogames?” The answer? People who’ve got time on their hands and money burning a hole in their pocket.

YGG Podcast episode 1
