We all need some sort of inspiration to keep us in the loop of pop culture and ahead of the trends that affect everything we see. NOTCOT is the place to be for such trendsters to see what’s hip in design, style, and products that’ll eventually go mainstream. We love this site for allowing us to be modern without being stuck up.

It’s a term you’ll be excessively using for many years to come. But it’ll give you a break from Purple Cowing. What began as an article for Wired Magazine has become a best-selling book for Chris Anderson, a widely read blog, and a new way to explain why businesses succeed and fail. If you’re not on The Long Tail bandwagon yet, now’s the time to hop on board and share our elongated love.

Hugh Macleod is the success story of the business blogosphere. He’s used his storytelling scribbles to build a brand for a wine and himself. His blog features “cartoons drawn on the back of business cards” from a former adman, with plenty of attitude to help you see the lighter side of business life. That’s why we love Hugh and his wacky cartoons.

This is Broken is a collection of user submitted communication blunders. Whether it’s a website, sign, or product that could have used an extra round of proof-reading, you’ll find it here. We love this site simply because it shows how stupid we can be at times.

If you happen to be a geek or insomniac, chances are you’re a regular visitor of Woot. For those that might not be Wooters, it’s a site/store/community that sells one product per day, in very limited quantities. At midnight each night a new product is made available on a first come first serve basis. The prices are ridiculously cheap and the product info is hillarious. That’s why we love Woot.
