Win 5,000 Business Cards from YGG and Orange32 ($400 value)

They make it easy to introduce yourself to strangers, help them remember your name, make you look bigger than you actually are, and certify the fact that you own your own business. These are business cards of course, an essential part of every entrepreneur’s toolkit.
From the dozens, hundreds, or thousands of cards that have passed through your hands over the years, chances are you can only recall several at most. If they weren’t your standard one-sided logo/text templates from Kinko’s, they may resemble the awful era of bevel and gradient madness from back in 2000.
It could be worse, I guess. You could have no business cards at all. Scribbling on napkins at events gets tired after a while.
The part where I get to the point
Whether your cards are an eyesore, or are running low, or you don’t have any, this is where YGG and Orange32 step in, with our first official contest.
We’ve partnered with Orange32, the nicest creative and print shop we’ve ever met, to give away a prize pack worth over $400. This package includes:
- 5,000 double-sided, full-colour, UV coated, glorious business cards printed by Orange32 (the coolest printer out there). ($150 value)
- The creative services of mois (Travis) to help you design, layout, and make sure your business cards are press ready. ($200 value)
- Free shipping to anywhere in the world. This is open to everyone, not just in North America.
- A free text ad for a month in the YGG sidebar under Featured Sites. ($50 value)
How do you enter this wonderful contest?
Funny you should ask. All you have to do is write a post on your blog about business cards. Absolutely anything to do with business cards. We’ll give you some ideas in a few moments.
Then link to the post you’re reading right now on YGG and Orange32’s website (www.orange32.com), in your business card post, and you’re automatically entered.
We’ll watch for trackbacks here and on Technorati. If you’re not tracked by Technorati, or nervous as hell, you can also send a link of your post to us, just to be safe: hello (at) younggogetter (dot) com.
How long does this contest last?
It begins today, October 1st, 2007, and closes on October 19th, 2007. All posts (aka submissions) must be live on your site by October 19th, 2007 at 11:59:59 p.m (EST).
The winner will then be chosen by Andreas Vavaroutsos (Creative Director at Orange32), Eric, and myself, within a week after closing. We’ll announce the winner on YGG and contact them to initiate the process and eventually send them their 5,000 business cards.
As a panel, we’ll pick the most interesting, unique, helpful, insightful, or strange post, and award that one person the prize.
Some ideas to help you write a post
When we say “absolutely anything to do with business cards, we mean anything. So here are a bunch of ideas to get you thinking. You’re free to use any of these or come up with your own.

Just asking :)

Christian,
No it doesn’t.
