Quick note: New Directory is up
From the feedback we got in the Forum, it was time for an upgrade to the Directory. So I spent the morning building a new direction for it, and went with the gallery format instead of a tag cloud.
We were just looking to give you a reason to drop by there every now and then, and make it easier to view and visit the sites. In my opinion, it looks a helluva lot better.
All of the dead sites were weeded out, and we encourage anyone that would like to be featured in the Directory to take a moment, register in our forum, and we’ll add it for you.

Nice change! And I don’t say that just because I’m second on the list right now… behind Satish (*waves fists*). Are you using any kind of app to generate the site details (screenshot, description, etc), or was it done with manual love by Travis?

That is some manual lovin’ by mois, Verne.
Surprisingly enough, posting a new entry in the new Directory is much easier and faster, than trying to make sense of the previous one’s inline style madness.
The new one is a fresh install of Wordpress, with our Mr. Clean theme, and a bit of block display wisdom.
That hover effect is a nice little script called boxover.
