    Howdy boys & girls,

A group of us young go getters has just soft-launched our first-ever website for public viewing. Everyone that worked on this site is under 23 - we know there's still plenty to fix on the site and some things about it suck ... but we're still looking for feedback from you all on what we could to do to improve or expand on the site.

It's a finance comparison website focussed only at Australian end users (so if you've got a similar site in the USA or UK, don't worry, we're never going to come after you - in fact, we've got a massive task just trying to get traction here locally still ahead of us).

Don't go easy on us with your comments - we can take some stick no matter what.

    The site is http://www.moneybuddy.com.au

Thanks for your help - we're hoping to make this site eventually go huge (probably a few years away yet though).

Just a quick update, we've now added a few more similar sites in the same vein. we're also getting there ... solid traffic numbers for Money Buddy now and it's getting interest & real $ from advertisers. In the last week or so, we've extended the "buddy" brand concept to include a network of similar sites about insurance, sharemarket investing and broadband isp comparisons. It's all part of a broader web publishing plan actually :)

And yes, I definitely realise the sites' designs still leave a LOT to be desired ... just what I have to deal with currently with from our web design & development dept. It's really a case of finding some talented designers/developers who can help us out, so if you're interested please get in touch. Of course we'll pay, and we're also working on more interesting sites too. We're definitely looking for help ...

    Cheers,

    Tim

I really like the design but the color of moneybuddy seems too intense. You should go with a traditional green or blue. They are the standard color of financial corporations and could make your visitors feel more at ease and possibly trust your site more.

    Resulting in more conversions.

Maybe create an alternate homepage and track the results to see which one has more success.
