So you wanna advertise on YGG, eh?

With our new clean cut theme, we’ve focused on eliminating the distractions and creating symmetry between content and marketing. The traditionally bland Adsense and its like have been substituted with creative ads, each with plenty of screen real estate to call their own.

While we once enjoyed anxiously counting the clicks, and watching pennies roll into our bank account, we figured we’d much rather help advertisers that are relevant to our community, connect with our readers and members.

Over the past eight months we’ve grown into one of the more popular entrepreneurial blogs out there and developed a community across the world that help one another in their business ventures and personal development. The stats below show where we’re at today, and compared to a year ago, it’s safe to say the future looks promising, analytically.

At this time, we offer two methods of reaching the entrepreneurial market. The first is Premium Sponsors (banner boxes), and the second is Sponsored Links. We do plan on creating unique opportunities through our podcast, contests, and site-wide sponsorship, not too far down the road. For now, we’re putting all our money, as should you :), on the following spots.

Premium Sponsors ($180/month)

Premium Sponsor These are the 136×136 image ads you see in the sidebar. With only 4 spots available, these ads have top priority on the site and are one of the main focal points. We encourage you to be creative in your approach and message, and are willing to provide some guidance to help you get the most bang for your buck. Even though these spots are sold in monthly incriments, you’re able to replace or update your ad once every two weeks, to keep it fresh.

We’re also throwing in a free 468×60 rotating banner at the bottom of every forum thread as well. We’ll help you put that ad together too.

Sponsored Links ($50/month)

Sponsored links are a cost-effective way to boost your search engine rankings. Your link stays on our site for a month or more, depending how long a period you buy, and is indexed when the search engines crawl us. The more popular the sites you’re linked from (ie. YGG) the higher you’ll rank in Google and the other engines. The current sponsored links are labeled as such in the right sidebar, most of which have been on YGG for several months in a row.
