Everything from learning another language, to classes to meetings are being done via the Internet. So why not a conference? Video conferencing has been around since the 1960′s World Fair. It has been utilized only among large companies for the most part. But what about the beginning entrepreneur? What is the great importance of this [...]

I have one for you…
I’ve owned business in the past [most recently in real estate] but got out of that sector (full time) back in 2007, just as the market was diminishing. This is when I went back to corporate America. Don’t worry, because even as an employee I have an entrepreneurial mindset- so I operate as my own business unit. My learnings from running my own businesses have taken my business maturity to the next level, giving me a vast advantage over my peers.
Working corporate American (notice I didn’t say ”working-in”) provides me with a few things that I really do appreciate at the current time: great compensation with minimal risk, flexible work hours (I work from home and from the office), exposure to high level contacts in major corporations and everyday is a challenge, and the ability to be creative in ”running my business”.
I’m not at a average person’s level, in terms of drive…but I want to note that I’ve set up my situation, and positioned myself into having the job luxuries described above with well thought out and calculated strategy.
Just recently I started up HustlersNotebook.com, which launched July 2010. It’s been a hell of a run for me, learning the development side, while trying to get solid content up - but I love the challenge. My main goal with the site is to help others. My monetary expectations at this point are not high, but in the long run I have some ideas up my sleeve.
I really enjoy helping people and watching folks get a kick out of my hustler’s perspective on things. I have a fundamentally street smart approach which overrides the college education I’ve acquired. My passion for helping others is what sparked me to start up the website blog. I know that’s counter intuitive in the blogging game, but it is what it is.
If you have any suggestive comments for me, let me know.

I really like the site, some interesting articles on there including ”6 Core Values of a Hustler”
And I agree that street smarts give you more of an edge than education once you are already in the company. Having been there before is the best teacher. It is just nice to have that piece of paper from university as it opens so many doors for you.
And last but not least WELCOME to YGG!
What’s your business model with HustlersNotebook.com? I’d love to hear more about what you’re doing with it

It is the age of gadgets. We are in an area where if you hesitate you’ll be left in cyber dust. The beginning entrepreneur is caught in a difficult battle between those who refuse to move with the times and the ones who are only interested in the “what’s next”. So what do you do [...]

Well the importance of this is simple. The next generation of web users, will be even better connected than we are. But unless they spend most of their time on skype, they might lose verbal and interpersonal communication skills, but make up for it in textual data sending.
I think that many small business will be be better connected as the entrepreneurs get younger in age. Imagine the possibility of having a network of super smart business individuals that you can connect with in second, just by sending them a message on FB.
