Un-Paid (Totally Biased) Review

This isn’t a paid review, but being the creator of COLOURlovers.com you could say my opinion is slightly biased.

COLOURlovers recently got a face-lift and some new tricks and tools. We moved the site over to a beefy managed server by RackSpace.com and we added some new features.

Rolling with Wordpress (Check Out the Blog)
It was a pain to update and not as interactive to blog on the old platform, so we fully integrated wordpress into COLOURlovers. And with Chris at the helm of this new blog section, you can expect to see daily updates on color trends & interesting new color and design related tips.

Find Picture Palette Inspiration (Click Here to See an Example)
At the top of the Create a Palette page is a text field to insert the URL to a picture anywhere on the web and break it down into a couple dozen colours… then all you need to do is click the colours you like to create a palette.

Download Palettes (Click Here to Download a YGG Inspired Palette)
Now you can download any palette in several formats to use in your creative works. We always love seeing what our palettes inspire so if you use a palette in a design or project be sure to post a comment and link to the work.

Who Said What About Who When?
You can now subscribe to palettes and colours and get lovenote updates when other people post comments. This should help you keep track of all the lovely things people will be saying about your creations.

    I have been using Adobes Kuler and have been less than satisfied. This is an excellent site, Ill forsure bookmark it. As for advertising, Ill be in touch shortly.

    Nice work, love the re-design. I have spent may hours sifting through the numerous palettes on this site. Always a starting point in my color scheme selection process.
