Quite the demanding generation

Written by: Travis  |  Category: Articles

Our server’s been pissy for the past little while. So we scrambled to call our host to have them fix it.

My internet was down for about 10 minutes. So I called tech support to see why it was down.

We’ve been bred to expect perfection.

Demanding accessibility is one thing, having patience is another.

Boy, we’re pushy.

Yeah with the emphasis on the customer always being right we’ve been indoctrinated to expect the world.

I’m of the camp that yes I will do almost anything to make my customers happy. I’ve worked at Nordstrom’s who are extremely well known for their great customer service.

However, the customers not always right and sometimes they are just trying to take advantage of you. I will do anything for a customer unless they are trying to take advantage of my generosity and kindness.

It’s true…Nordstrom bred a generation of bitchers and moaners.

    Patience? Online?

If a webpage takes more than 10 seconds to load we’re pissed! There are stats somewhere to back that up.
