A Godin nugget
Another interesting quote to get your brainwaves flowing:
“Nine women working together can’t have a baby in one month, and ten good salespeople still aren’t going to close the account that a great one could.”
Quality will always prevail over quantity.

Great Quote. Really puts into words what I’m sure a lot of us already know but don’t think about.

I ran a jewelry store sometime ago, had 4 people working the floor, a jean and t-shirt kind of skruffy fellow walked in, no one moved to see what he wanted. I approached, after a few minutes he walked out with a 40,000.00 ring for his anniversary. Not only did the sales people lose 5% commission, they also lost their jobs. You can always fill the store with sales people but trying to find that one quality person…well, you know all th sayings.

That is quite an interesting way of putting things into perspective.

That was Nordstrom’s big rule. You help everyone because you can never judge who’s is going to buy.
Often times the people I didn’t think were going to buy anything would spend $5,000 with me. Jes’s story is a great example.

Great Quote.

Actually just to add to the “can never judge who’s going to buy” comments:
A friend of mine looks and plays the part of “want to buy”, but really he just likes to test-drive different cars. So this can really go ether way.

Agreed. Quality will always prevail.
