This looks pretty interesting, plus a great marketing tool for the guy behind it :)
I went for a fitness site, blogger account, top-left rectangle ad (blended) and just word of mouth... ended the day with a little over $11
Though I couldn't seem to match or beat that on other days, despite trying a bunch of different ad placements and marketing.
cheers

Thats actually a really cool game. If thats heavily based on actual real life earnings.
Then that could b a great place to experiment with ad placements, colours etc.

$17 on my first day. I think its just some game to help that guy sell his books etc..

I think it's fairly accurate.

Oh man the interface is SO drawn out I was going crazy by the time I got to choose the type of website. Maybe when I'm feeling a bit more patient I'll give it a shot.
BTW, Joel Comm isn't a kook - he really knows his stuff when it comes to AdSense.

I really dont understand why people pay so much attention to adsense. I mean com'on how much money can you really make with that thing? and havin that ad on your site, makes it un professional and un creditable. well at least thats what i think when i see a site with adsense thing on them. Please enlighten me YGGer I wish to learn.

That's pretty cool. A good marketing tool for Joel and an interesting way to introduce people to adsense.
My stats:
Home Business website with a custom domain name, 100mb webspace, professional design, and freelance writer.
Just the one ad block (#8) got me:
$20.40 for the first day and the amount just kept falling day by day with some movement of the ads.
It's a nice way to slap the adsense retirement dreams outta the heads of all the hopeful kids out there.
