Yes it's the entrepreneur-forum-addicted guy with the crazy animated avatar! ... well sort-of, atm it's not animated and a little horizontal, but still good :)
Love the look of these forums, I think I must've registered a while back as there was a really old email addy in my account profile. Speaking of emails, is there a reply email notification feature?
I'm currently lurking and posting on 4 different entrepreneur forums, but you never know... YGG might become a permanent home :D
cheers

Welcome back Nathan. Nice to see you're still doing good, in a little less animated fashion. lol

Any way to automatically subscribe to each thread I post in? ... oh and automatic parsing of URLs would be nice too :)

Try checking the first option on this page.

Link doesn't seem to go anywhere

Okay. Then go into the account tab at the top, then Notification on the left menu, then check the first box on that page. Should work. Hopefully.

hmm, no Notification link in the left menu (after clicking the account tab). I could only find a whisper comment notification option in the preferences.

Hey Nado, glad you're back. That Notification link worked fine for me...I'll check your account settings.

haha, hey Jan. Well I didn't really leave... I registered back when the forums were but-ugly (sorry, but they were lol) and I guess there just wasn't enough activity or something so I stuck with YE.com

It's not always important how "active" a forum is. I don't care if I talk to the same 5 people over and over as long as the disucssions are productive and juicy. This is something I haven't gotten on other forums for a long time. Sure they may have hundreds of registrations everyday and a TON of messages...but how many times can you respond to "what type of business should I start?" without getting insanely bored?
This place, ugly or not, has always had an amazing community.

Definitely agree. I actually did a blog post a few days ago and noted that a sense of community is most important and is something YGG has.

That's a pretty comprehensive and unbiased view of what's available now, and pretty accurate. It's good to see that we didn't get tomatoes thrown at us :) - Glad to have you here.

I follow Nado.
It's the flailing arms (that aren't flailing in this icon). I can't help it.

Thinking I should start a fanclub :D
nado.com is selling for US$13,000 ... there's a possible marketing exercise: Somehow manage to get 13 thousand people to donate $1 each for the domain. Setup a social site of some sort and instantly have 13k+ users.
*still deciding whether I'm joking or whether it's a good idea*
Since it's pretty cheap for a 4-letter domain... maybe the owner thinks it's difficult to pronounce: "na-doe" instead of the way I say it as "nay-doe"

You could always do www.nadi.com instead. :::snicker:::
