Internet & Tech: Ahhh! Help me!

    OK so for some reason my site, Dorm Room Biz, started acting up yesterday! The design is now screwed up and looks as though it is missing elements when viewed in Firefox. And then in Internet Explorer, the sidebar is shown at the very bottom of the page for some reason!!!

    Anyone have ideas on why this would be. Is it something with wordpress? Is it my code? Is it the browsers?

    How do things look for you???

    HELP!

    I can tell by the "/" at the top of the page that there's a "<" missing somewhere that's not closing a tag properly. I'm assuming it's probably a "DIV" tag as these create huge problems when not terminated.

    Do some digging on your main page template or the header template. If you want you could send them over to me and I'll take a look.

    Hrmm..I dont know that it is making a difference...I am seeing one at the top of my index.php page that looks like this:[code:1]\<?php get_header(); ?>[/code:1]

    I tried removing it and adding a < to it and it made no differences...

    Bummer...usually stuff like that is a tell tale sign.

    I'm assuming the base of this is a template of some sort, I would make backups of what you have and put the original template files back in that directory and see what happens. Depending on how much custom work you had done this should be a cakewalk to get back to normal. Most of the time it's just image changes and a few snippets of code that would have to be re-done. I'm sure there are file-comparing tools out there that allow you to put two pages of code side by side and it'll higlight what's different.

    Hrmm...OK I will have to try that. I had Yahoo ads displayed below the posts and then switched it back to Google ads and I think that this had to have something to do with it but I dont know where something would have gone wrong because it worked right at first.

    I will have to compare the codes.
