Finally after almost 9 months of development and planning my site has launched into beta...

    http://www.weswapbooks.com

It's an online community that allows our members to add books they have but no longer want and swap the books with other members.

Best of all it's free for members. The only charge is posting the books to one another.

At the moment it's only in Beta and it's only for the UK but once we move out of Beta I'll launch the US site into Beta.

Feedbacks appreciated. Oh and if you spot any errors or problems then please let me know (it is in beta after all)

    :o)

Sweet! Well, not for me because I'm in the US, but cool idea nonetheless.

www.paperbackswap.com does this. I went to school with the guy who started this. Pretty successful, but mostly romance novels being swapped (yes, seriously).

yeah I saw that site during my development. I came up with the idea and worked on my site for about 5 months before I went on the web and decided to look at the other sites out there doing this kinda thing. I would not advise waiting that long to do it by the way, do it right away...I can't believe I waited 5 months.

Anyway yeah I saw that site and a few others doing similar things, hopefully my site offers something a little different. First my sites free and theres no credits or requests (although I might add requests in the future), I just tried to make it as straightforward as possible.

I actually like your friends site...

...although I will try to kill it of course ( I'm joking :o) )

Seriously I like your friends site and yeah, best of luck to him (I still think this is a great idea).
