I think YE and I are going to break up. About 1 out of every 3 posts I make gets deleted by the almighty "BizGuy" - I get no explination or warning about this, they're just gone when I check the site.
Hmmm...

Same here - and they arent even post that need to be deleted :)
-
I know - my posts have been fine there and they're all getting wacked.

I thought you were deleting them. I guess not. YE is really a lost cause now.
-
No, I wasn't - they were being slaughtered by my good buddy BizGuy

You had to expect it. Two young'ns trying to sit on the one remaining musical chair. Someone's gotta fall on their ass. And right now I have a feeling YGG is in a great position to grab that seat.

I'll agree... it'd be great to recruit more YE members...

I think that YGG clearly is a superior forum- we just need to add more size/resources to it while maintaining the quality of the membership.

Well, YE seems to have taken away my PM abilities. That pissed me off so I posted a thread about it and their general conduct in the lounge section. If its not deleted check it out.

very nice jimi... here, for all those who wont get to see it, due to unexplained circumstances

Alright, this is getting ridiculous. Since the changes to the site on July 26-28, there have been numerous bugs and other issues with YE, in addition to an increase in spam. Many of these problems have been remedied, but not all. In response to the poor performance of YE, a few of us migrated to YGG, started by Eric and Joey. Their site, over the last month, has quite frankly surpassed YE in terms of quality, responsiveness and effectiveness of content. The introduction of YGG, however, did not prohibit us from remaining valuable members of YE. The administrators of this site, unfortunately, have chosen to reply not by working to fix the problems that caused the initial rift, but rather by hampering all efforts of YGG members to be functioning members of YE. Recently many of our posts have been deleted, and we have lost the right to use private messaging (myself, I found, late today). I implore the YE administrators to cease the immature tactics and approach the problem from a constructive mindset so that we can help each other to succeed. Of course, it is likely this will be deleted in a matter of moments; if it is still here in the morning I will be quite surprised. If the YE administrators would like to talk to me further please restore my messaging abilities so that I can give you more information. Thank you.bravo kid :D :D

Yeah nice work!
As I stated in the Personal PM Invitations to YGG initially, we weren't here to replace or even detract from YE, rather just be a different and if possible, better resource and forum for entrepreneur's. Even with that said (and sincerely meant) they have chosen to neglect their most valuable members by eliminating their ability to communicate with other members on the forum, both by PM and by regular posts. This hardly seems like a solution, and the word 'immature' certainly rings true.
You talked about adding more resources to this site, etc. - Let's stick to that and try to get this place buzzing. What can I do to help? You suggest it, I make it so...

IT looks messy and unorganized, this site is so much "cleaner" and nice looking. All the major posters from there are coming here it seems, and that is detracting from its appeal as well.

I agree - I love not having as much clutter to deal with.

I have to say when i joined this site i thought that YE was better, but now that i am becoming more active i realise this site is so much better.
Maybe the only thing YE has over YGG is that it is never down, and the skin is more attractive.
As they say- never judge a book by its cover.

I like the outlay of this site much better. YE looks messy....

Yeah, why did they ban you Scotland?

-
because I had younggogetter.com in huge writing on my sig. and they were bragging about the site growing so i said it was growing with scammers and is completely unorganised.
-
Its like dealing with children over there......

Just checked my e-mail.
Jimmiejo,
This is a friendly reminder that we do not appreciate your unethical tactics
to try and sway the YE members to another site of 'similarity'.
Please take this as a friendly notice that if this type of behaviour
continues on the YE forum then further membership actions may be taken. We appreciate your understanding.
All the best,

I've had 2 accounts wacked so far. My main one and another one I made and NEVER advertised other than a plain URL in the signature. Someone get them a box of tissues!

Just checked the site for the first in a helluva while. My sig was yanked too, as well as a bunch of my posts. What a shame.
