I just got done building a site for a friend of mine who needs to raise money for a prosthetic leg. The goal was to design a site that was memorable, easy to use, simple (one page), that gets the message out and equips the visitor to pass it on.

For this last point, I've made the Youtube embed code available from the site, provided Digg & Reddit widgets, gave links to groups on Facebook and Myspace, and made a pool on Flickr for people to upload photos to once they've received a shirt (this lets the user feel more personally involved and gets the shirt in front of even more eyes.)

I expect things to take off once it reaches the Digg homepage.

    Thoughts? Comments?

Unfortunately I think an article has to get enough diggs to go popular within 24 hours or else it'll never hit the homepage :(

Really? I hadn't considered that - I've made the front page 3 times, but I suppose it did happen in a relatively small timeframe. Sometimes it comes down to when the article was posted and what the wording is, as well.
