This is a documentary filmed back in 2000 or so and released in 2002. Mark Kerr is a wrestler turned MMA fighter who was involved in the early days of Pride Fighting and UFC.

I couldn't get up once I started watching this film. It's an incredible inside look at what these fighters face as they train, how little they really have, and the breakdown that many of them experience.

Unfortunately, the last 15 or so minutes of the film were not uploaded to DailyMotion, but you'll still see the first 90 minutes and may consider renting it to see the conclusion.

For a good portion of these guys they still keep regular jobs and train as there is very little money at the lower levels of this sport.

And to go out there and get their a** kicked over and over its amazing they still do it. But thats their warrior attitude.

Only the top guys make any real money. And training for MMA is insane and there are very few that can keep up with it week in and week out.

They truly are machines and it takes real dedication to compete in this sport and I salute them. Refreshing when you look at all these NBA and MLB players whining cause they get $2.5 million instead of $2.6 million or having a real great year, getting a new contract and then mailing it in the next year.

These guys have to be at their best all the time or no payday.

Great documentary, but it would be better if the end was included. If anyone can find a link to the last 15 minutes Travis I, Aaron will give you $100, and understand that this public comment makes me legally liable.
