Ideas & Concepts: Capital Checkup

Basic Idea:
(Try to) ensure that candidates keep their campaign promises.A bit more:
Keep track of candidate promises and opinions throughout the races. Once they get into office keep track if they have kept those promises. Write articles about how they are / aren't keeping those promises and what is keeping them from doing so.Upside:
More honest politicians (Seriously! I'm not joking here!)Downside:
May lead to more disaffected college students.Lastly:
I just haven't heard of anything like this. Everything these days seems to be about reporting what's going on in the moment, what they're doing now. No one seems to focus on what they said they would do.I would probably start out with presidential elections and then move down from there.
What do you think? Would it work? Would you use a site like that?

lol This is an interesting idea. This would also get a lot of traffic just from curiosity.
A non-partisan website keeping track of political integrity.
I wouldn't go as far to the 'office', though. I think you would be asking for a lot of complications. I would actually focus more on the candidates and on whether they kept some sort of integrity through their candidacy. I say this because I believe you will get more traffic due to the fact the user is involved, involved because the user is the elector.
I wonder, how many average citizens who plan to vote learn about their candidates? Probably not a lot, but for those who do, I believe you could create a valuable resource.

It would take a lot of money and staffers to follow all of this information. Second there is already a non profit that does this and publishes it on their website. Sorry I don't know the link but I've been to the site a few times but can't remember it for the life of me.
Other than my rain on your parade comments it's a good idea.
