"Roid rage"?!?! Come on. They're actually going to try and paint a nice picture about him, blame the steroids.

I sure as hell wouldn't have ran a three hour special honouring a murderer.

Wasn't McMahon doing a stunt or something, where he was supposed to be dead last week?

I know, it's f'd up that they ran a three hour special about him. I hope they get a huge backlash because of that.

There was a huge stunt pulled by McMahon about him dying recently.

I wonder hat his motive was? He was quite the successful wrestler who made a lot of money. Apperently he loved the business as well.

This totally came out of left feild. If you are tired of life and want to die than there is nothing to be done, but to kill innocent family members is inexcusable.

Quite a disturbing and sad story. This guy lived in my city and went to the same high school as myself (15 years apart). Felt a mixture of sadness and anger when I heard about it. God knows what caused him to do what he did.

Wrestlers nowadays are under a lot of internet media scrutiny, and yet there never seemed to be any indication that he was the type of person who could do this sort of thing. Hopefully more information will come to pass over time (like what his text messages said).

From what I heard on the radio this morning some text messages came from his wife's cell phone and some from his. They included him sending his street address 2 or 3 times, one message saying that his dogs were locked up in a part of the house or seperate area, and that the side door was unlocked presumably so that someone could get in without being threatened by the dogs.

Its a crazy yet interesting story. This should put a lot of pressure on others using sterroids to back off or even pop up more legislation/laws about them.

It seems the WWE ran the special before they knew the details but surely they must have at least known all 3 members of the family was dead and that suspicion was on Benoit.

Also they argue this couldn't have been Roid Rage because it took place over 3 days. It wasn't something he did in an instant or even the same hour, it was over 3 days. They had some interesting points on the WWE site that was from the DA's office as well saying they didn't think this was roid rage but they've removed all trace of Benoit from their site. The police don't think this was Roid Rage but the media seems to want to label it that so there you go, Roid Rage.

I was a fan of his, he was a great wrestler and his matches with Kurt Angle were something else but this was a total shock.

Strange that all the people who knew him say what a great family guy he was. Something went real wrong, real fast here and I hope they at least come up with something, anything to try and explain why a happy husband and father would suddenly do this. It's to easy to blame steriods.

    They won't get a backlash...

Since he killed himself in addition to his family, people look at the entire family unit and feel sympathetic - since the obvious cause is gone (Benoit), they move on and look for an external cause (steroids). When the murderer remains alive, people don't need to look for external causes.

That's my theory on why people are the way that they are. Sounds good in paragraph form, lol

Anyway, I don't even watch wrestling.
