Yeah monthly revenue? Also traffic stats - post up a link to graphs. Also, those two image type ads in the sidebar, they paying ads? RSS stats?

IMO 5k is a little steep for Alexa of 128,000. But fair enough and good luck with sale if you can find that.

Well $5,000 w/out any revenue to back that up is definitely out of the question.

Anyone want to buy YGG for $25,000? :)

Something of this reeks of desperation to me. Just dropping your price after on day like that....

What do you really feel this is worth? Less than $4k I would assume.

Ads and TLAs bring about $28/mo, but honestly I haven't really tried to monetize it. I dropped the price because I didn't feel it was really worth 5k, you could easily make 4k back though in a matter of months, and that's just what I'll do if it doesn't sell, I just want to start a few more projects, but I'll see this through if I have to. I'll probably wind up getting really serious about monetizing it if it doesn't sell now, have some revenue to show later and then sell it for a much higher price.

If it has so much potential to make 4k in a couple of months then why sell. I highly doubt you can make 4k in a couple of months. Maybe a year or more depending on your efforts, the market, savvy and luck.

If you can get 4k best of luck to you but I don't think that the value is there.

Hell, www.netbusinessblog.com by Matt Coddington only sold for 13k but he was making 1.5k a month or 18k a year.

So basically his site sold for 72% of his yearly revenue.

I'm not trying to come down on you but you can't sell snake oil. At least not here. I think you've got a good blog with potential but you've got to show real income to sell a business not potential.

The typical model is 10x monthly revenue.

    $28/month x 10 = $280

    Add a generous $1,000 for a PR5 and you're at $1,280.

I am thinking you should monetize your blog a little more to get the $$ you are looking for. I am thinking a generous offer right now would be $1500.....

If I were interested and thought that I had the time and skills to develop the site into an honest business or stream of income. $650 - 800 The reason I would only pay that is because there is nothing to say that I would make money, it is all speculation.

There is an ok foundation but that's it.

I pretty much agree with everyone. In today's market, a site like yours would be more in the $900 to $1,400 range. If you put the time in to get the revenue up to $250-$400/month, then you could push for $4,000 or $5,000.

It's just a seasoned domain name purchase at this point and virtually no type-in traffic. Good luck with the sale Jason, but you're better off holding on to the site and trying to make something out of it.
