Off-Topic: I've shed a tear for the first time in years

A copy of Sicko, Michael Moore's latest movie, has circulated on the internet.

I just watched it and am absolutely speechless. This is the most moving film I've ever seen and everyone in the World should watch it.

I'm praying the conscience of the government and medical industries coerces some influential people to watch it.

Michael Moore is an extremist DB - but if Travis says the movie is good, I'll give it a shot.

Yeah I was trying to be polite but you're right Moore is a dush bag.

I'll see his film on rental just so I can get his point of view.

I agree that some points in his previous films can be questioned, because the facts presented are something we don't have the resources or access to verify or deny. 9/11 is a very iffy topic.

But Sicko is a "from the horse's mouth" movie. He has his moments (boating to Guantanamo Bay) but the rest of the movie is first hand stories from victims of the health system.

Whether you like him or not, we need more people like Moore (c'mon, that was pretty good) who understand how to create movements and engage the masses.

He's not an Ann Coulter that spreads propaganda at every opportunity; he does the research, shares his finding and opinion. You don't have to agree with it. I don't agree with everything he says, but what he's trying to do is improve the lifestyle of disadvantaged individuals, whether that be a handful of people or thousands of people.

It's a shame that the crooked government respond in an equally lackluster fashion as they did to Gore's global warming movement.

Michael Moore is crazy, but there may be little truth to some of the things he says.. but with no real proof, except for what people say he fabricates... we'll never really know.
