Internet & Tech: Playing with Proxies

Has anyone ever made any money with proxies?

I converted MomPick.com/.net to proxies last night because I wasn't doing anything with them. Pretty simple to setup.

Anyone know how I can get AdSense to stop putting up Mom related ads? Obviously want more tech/proxy oriented ones.

I've changed the meta keywords, and added proxy stuff in the content. Still not working.

Funny that, because a few days back I won a proxy domain name, BLProxy.com. It has some good branding potential, but apparently no host allows proxies, so I'm thinking maybe of a Blog about Proxies and how to create them (even though I've never made one myself!).

It will just take a while for the adbot to spider you again I'd say, which it might do when nobody clicks on the ads :P

I think you can also put in negative keywords but this wouldn't help much in your case.

Bought Hide-Browse.info and Privacy-Secure.info. Nice template that I can duplicate. Waiting for GoDaddy to finish setting them up.

Totals: 1,990 - $1.34 (including $0.29 in search)

Investment so far: $14.24. We'll see if it pays off!

In a nutshell:

Employers/schools will put up blockers that prevent you from viewing websites like Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, etc. There is away around this, usually, but using a web proxy.

You go to the web proxy webpage, and using PHP or CGI usually, you can navigate around the block. It doesn't keep you completely anonymous, but it can help you because it uses that server as your "jump point" to those websites. I could be wrong. All it is is a script + a simple webpage + listing in Topsites, top proxy sites, etc.

Bought hide-browse.info and privacy-secure.info to get the template and script. Then bought aproxie.info and duplicated it. As I said, it is just a script.
