does anyone else notice that YGG loads extremely slow?

compared with every other site i visit, YGG is always slow, but usually bearable. but sometimes it completely crawls. i don't think it's isolated to the forum either because the blog seems slow too.

my guess is it's the server because once the images and JS are in cache, the pages should load up quickly. but that's not happening.

It's working fine for me - the JS rollovers are working as they should.

i'm not really referring to the JS, because i think it's a server-side issue, not client-side.

in other words, none of the page loads up quickly because the server isn't pushing out the HTML fast enough.

I'm confused - you specifically said the JS rollovers were acting up, be it the JS or the HTML causing it - I'm saying that it's working fine for me.

Normally I find that YGG is a tad slower - but I just wait for it for a bit. But today I've gotta say that its running a bit quicker than usual!

Yeah, I usually open a few threads in tabs so they load. Usually takes about 10-15 seconds to load page.

i agree, been slow for me... i do the same, open heaps of tabs and read as they load... i was thinking its might have just been an issue of me being in Australia cause no one ever said anything.

It's been terribly slow for me lately guys. I think it might be due to the face that I've been on dialup for a week though :)
