What makes you think you'll be successful?
Seriously - smart ass question but real question nonetheless.
We're all trying to do something. What makes you think you'll be successful when thousands have failed and will continue to fail?
Me? I think the biggest thing that I have going for me is I'm no longer afraid to fail. Does it mean I stop doing dumb things? No. For a while my partner and I were stuck in a serious holding pattern because she was afraid of it not being exactly what people wanted - having everything for everybody and I was afraid of losing money (hey, my little bit of money was hard to come by). So we analyzed and analyzed and analyzed and talked and talked and talked. And did nothing. I learned a lot about myself and my partner just from that experience of DOING NOTHING.

Similar to action, but I would say the ability to adapt is one of the keys to success, I suppose it requires action in the first place.
Wanting to get things perfect can be paralyzing, but if you're open to making changes to your plan, then you don't have to get things perfect the first time. I guess that means you have to accept that you're not perfect, which is an important ingredient too.

Entrepreneurial success = making past that famed 7 year itch (xx% - some big number - of small business fail within the first 7 years or whatever).
Many entrepreneurs have been hard working, determined, well organized, confident, well connected, eager, open minded and smart and have failed.
What makes us different?! Besides the fact that we're amazing HAHA.

It depends on your own personal definition of success. Everyone has their own definition. Some define as what you have, I define it as what I am able to do.
Am I successful? Some people consider me to be successful just because I have never needed to work a regular full time job in my life and I am 23 years old (with no help from anyone else). But according to my own personal definition of success, I have not yet reached it.
I am certain I will reach my definition of success because according to history, my mentors, and my consultants; I am doing what I need to do to succeed. We only know what we are told, so we need to put faith in people who we trust and who have gone down the same road we want to go down.
