I'm currently reading through the book on Mind Petals. I came across an interesting passage (beginning of chapter 7)

All throughout life I was a person who excelled at whatever I did. I made it a point always to not only win, but to try and win in a major way. Even if I didn’t succeed at something I made certain that I always went down fighting like a mad man.

In school I always made excellent grades. When it came to football I was considered a good ball player. When it came to most activities I usually was considered a winner without a doubt and, I succeeded to great lengths!

Is it possible to be an entrepreneur if you're not "that guy"?

When I have drive towards something, yes, I work my damn ass off. But I'm not the guy who gets straight-A's (or A's in general). I know I have a creative mind, hell I wish it would stop most of the time. I'm also not a socialite, I don't have much of a social life at all.

However, when I know something, I really know it. For instance, I may not be much of a designer, but ask me any HTML/CSS question, and chances are I can fix it.

I don't know, I think I could do the whole entrepreneurship thing, but is it only for someone who's "that guy"?

    Let me ask you this...

Did Bill Gates graduate? Did he play good ball? Did he get all the chicks?

    Is he poor?

Dude entrepreneurship is the story of the underdog. If you have the drive and some brains (street smarts) you can make it.
