Anyone signed up for AGLOCO?
John Chow has over 7,000 referrals. The company folded in the past, but they're back. And the first time around, John made $25,000! Woah!
Of course he is probably going to make a ton this time around simply because he is blog is so popular. Once the machine gets rolling, it runs itself.
The product is a "Viewbar" that sits above your taskbar for as much as 5 hours/month. Just 5 hours / month. That's less that 1 work day. The viewbar has advertisers that try to get your attention.
So it's just a thought, but if you're interested, please sign up under my referral: http://www.agloco.com/r/BBCL9971

Do you get paid per click on the toolbar or by completing an offer?
Proud Partner of YGG -
Travis: Neither. Just by using the toolbar the maximum 5 hours/month, you earn "shares" in the company. It seems sketchy, but seems like "no harm no foul" to me. Plus if someone like John Chow could make a literal $25k ...
From the FAQ:
5. Do I need to buy anything?
No, AGLOCO™ Membership is absolutely free. You will never have to buy or sell anything. Simply sign up, download your free copy of the Viewbar™ software, refer your friends and family, and get your share of the Internet!Eric: I think Windows only at this point. The Viewbar hasn't been released yet.

So it's pretty much new reasoning for allowing someone to track every website you view and sell that information to advertisers, right?

I guess at least you are getting paid to do it.

Sounds like a waste of time unless you have a super popular outlet to get referrals, a la Chow John.

It's a spin on MLM. So far the viewbar isn't out yet. TechCrunch (or VentureBeat, I can't remember) has mentioned how they've delayed the viewbar release a few times (last time mentioned here).
No thanks, I don't want any spyware. It will be interesting to see how big it gets though.

I feel the same way. Anything even remotely related to MLM makes me run for the hills. DIE QUIXTAR DIE!

MLM = you buy in, members above you sell you product and in turn you sell members below you product
Nothing to buy, nothing to sell.
Oh well, just a thought. If they keep delaying it, I'll probably ignore my account.
