Picked up 2 cars today. One is a silver 2003 Audi A4 1.8T and the other is a 2004 red Audi A4 1.8T. They look freakin' sweet, especially side by side out in the front of my office.

    I'll post pics up soon.

In my opinion it's the most advanced AWD system available. Subaru's is a close second :)

like you i like second hand cars. i don't see the point in paying steep monthly amortization. cars depreciate in value anyway.

    really good choice there.

Well one of my businesses is a small auto boutique so it's sort of my business to deal with second hand cars - but yes, I will probably never buy a car brand new...it just doesn't make sense and I'm too much of a financial geek to make that mistake.

I wish the states had more cities with developed mass transit. When I lived in France for 2 years that's all I had. I loved it. You could get so much done during your commute. Or just sleep.

The only time that is sucked was during the summer and there was no A/C. That made for some really bad smelling pits.

Also, when you've got well developed mass transit it's not just bums and people who will shank you for a hamburger that ride it. Everyone takes mass transit and it's normal. Unfortunately where I live there isn't any reliable source.
