General Business: Is fear holding you back too?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to write a quick post about my day, I just need to vent. Today was like another ordinary day. For many months now I have been talking about starting a business, trying to find the right business, etc, etc. You all have probably experienced the same lame ass excuses I have said over and over again.
How come I enjoy talking about starting a business and never do it? Because of FEAR, each day I wake up and say, okay, today I’m going to come up with a good business idea and take the plunge and at the end of the day, I go home, read a few articles about entrepreneurship, check YGG, make sure I have all of my task finished for tomorrow and call it night. Well, tomorrow comes and what has changed nothing. I wake up at 5:00am, leave for work, drive the same roads, see the same traffic, hell I can even tell you exactly when the light is going to turn red. (usually when I get 50ft from it. )
The moral of the story: for the love of God get off your ass and do something about. The next few weeks I’m going to solely focus all of my intention on creating an (offline) business and leave the SLAVE driving job for someone else.
I feel somewhat better now; I’m going to leave all of you with an article I found, I do believe Travis sent it to me many weeks ago when I was venting to him about not starting a business.
It’s a great article! Please at least read the top ten reasons why you should never get job.
There’s only one thing that prevents you from seeing this truth — fear.

I get the same way too. I have been getting better and better over the last 2 years or so. I am at the point where i don't care if people put down my idea I want to try it anyway, and if it fails at least I can say I tried and then go try something else.
I have spent too much time looking for the "perfect idea" to no avail. SO now I have convinced myself to "just do it" and break through the fear.
If i ever get afraid to ask someone for something or to start something I just think of the positives if it works out and that gets me through.
I know how ya feel Jason!
