General Business: Wordpress Tag Help

    I've never really understood how to us the tag feature on wordpress. I'm looking to ad a "top tag" spot in my sidebar on predictionpad but am clueless. I'd like it to be just like technorati's top tag spot. Words get bigger and bolder the more they are tagged.

    Erm, I use Ultimate Tag Warrior and Extended Live Archives.
    The first allows you to utilize and tag each post - a pretty standard feature.
    The second is a little more interesting and allows you to create your own Archives page. On that Archives page is a coo AJAXy feature but also a tag cloud where words get bigger and bolder the more they're tagged. If you dig into the coding for the Extended Live Archives plugin, I'm sure there will be some code which you can copy and paste into your sidebar.

    If you're using WordPress' categories to make your tags, then take a look at Category Cloud. Alternatively, if you're a Tag Warrior person, this plugin might come in handy.

    I've got Category Cloud running (in a slightly modified version) in the sidebar of my site.
