General Business: Google goes evil with search personalisation

Aaron Wall just reported that Google appear to have removed the "turn off personalised search" option from the search results pages now.

Evil much?

My comment:
If you login to your Google account and click the search product you can pause the history collection. If they don't have the search history how can they customize it..

Pause collection, delete your current history, keep on movin :)

The search history was actually quite a surprise, I wasn't aware that they kept a complete log of everything I'd done over the Google domain (in the past I'd always turned it off).
