yeah lol, at work I do website design stuff all day and not so much graphic design... so I tend to stay away from it when I get home, considering im on a computer over 8 hours a day with work, uni, and my own projects (except days off)
just wondering if you guys know how to put a blog on one page, im looking at doing an entire site then having a blog in it as well, kinda like this site (Hello Media)
Anything you guys can help with wordpress, such as things I should install and what not :)

It’s only been running for about a month, still haven’t really finished it, still got allot of little things to fix, have only made 2 sales though affiliates which got me about $20.
I’ve got to do some email marketing for each category then im expecting to pull in some money. I believe I can pull in about $100-$1000 a month from it, so ill see how that goes.Ross, as its Australian service/shop directory, if you can get a banner and a little blurb about thrive or something im willing to put you in there for free... wont bring any clicks for awhile though lol
Guys, my msn is jamison@jbanham.com.au if you want to know.
Ill add the websites tonight.
Thanks guys -

That one is a blogger blog, I'd definitely install wordpress so that you have complete control over the process. It really depends what you want to do with your site but with mine I'm going to put the template into wordpress and manage everything from there. The articles section will be the blog, and the rest of the site (including homepage) will be pages.

I can't knock back a free ad :) I'll email you.

To have your blog appear on a page within a multi-paged website, just create a folder on your server for the blog. Name it Blog or whatever you wish. Install Wordpress in that folder. In your site's navigation just make the blog link go to www.whatever.com/blog and it'll have it's own page. Presto!

Yeah I was thinking about doing what you said Ross, with the pages, but i want total control over the design of the site, i dont want to stuff around with wordpress templates.
I would like some how to just on a page but in some code and my blog will appear or find away to do something silimar.

That's what I am thinking about doing with uploadFX...probably tomorrow because I am stuck in a Blizzard Warning here in Grand Rapids and decided to buy The Office Season 1 and watch it tonight.

If you're going to be picky you can always just code a simple CMS yourself ;) Complete control.

Me code = not good.
I’ve been playing with the wordpress templates a bit and it’s actually very easy to edit, I was surprised, so im trying that for now...
Will stick with that until my site takes off or when I have plenty of time to change it. -
I find wordpress is pretty hackable into whatever you want to make it. You have to work within the Page and Post context but if you can stretch the definitions a bit you can do anything really. Remember that each page can have its own template style..
