I am posting here for possible interested candidates for a position as an advanced PHP developer for a small but perfectly formed company in manchester city centre. We are currently attracting large projects for big companies and require to expand our team.

PHP DEVELOPER
Developer required with a strong understanding of PHP and building mediumto large scale applications including content management and ecommerce. You will also require a good understanding of HTML/CSS design and layout.

We require a developer with a passion for application design and the drive and motivation to progress and build solutions for the company product portfolio. You must have an advanced knowledge of PHP and online security including Object orientated programming, secure programming for commerce, online payment processing and developing communications with offline systems using technologies such as XML/SOAP. As a minimum you must know PHP to an advanced level and MySQL/SQL database integration.

A solid understanding of current web trends and technology including AJAX and web 2.0 concepts is highly desirable. Passion for your job and ideas is something we value.

Essential requirements:

PHP (advanced)
MySQL/SQL
Understanding of Ecommerce/Content Management and online security
Understanding of application design and HTML/CSS

2 years commercial experience

Desirable:

AJAX and web 2.0 design techniques
Linux server scripting and admin experience
Knowledge of Java/PERL/C++/SAP integrations
