I just bought spacemyface.com ... no idea what I am going to do with it. But it's a killer name considering there are billions of dollars surrounding myspace and facebook.

Any ideas as to what to do with the domain?

Use that domain for the faceofflayouts site. Could work out better for you.

Yeah but I'm not overly interested in faceofflayouts. I'm sure there is potential there, but profile layouts really don't excite me at all.

Although I am sure I could buy that site. Blast (a cooler word for spam) myspace with friend requests and make my money back in adsense in a few weeks. Jeez, I just talked myself into being more interested in that site now.

Hehehe. Those sites are a dime dozen though and you can easily find a free myspace layout template and pick up a better domain for $8. Is that a site you'd really enjoy maintaining and putting a ton of work into marketing?

It's not my cup of tea, mainly because I've never been a part of the Myspace herd and it's quickly becoming the next Geocities. YouTube has knocked it off it's media throne and it's becoming an overnight afterthought.

Yeah I'm still not interested in doing a myspace layout site. Like you said, it's a flooded market for marginal material.

I was thinking that I could do a simple aggregator (kinda like a trillian) but for your facebook and myspace acct to 'summarize' into one area. And when I say "simple" I mean: I have no idea what it would take.

That would only be possible if those social sites have released an API that allows you to access that information. Otherwise, you could be in bigggggggg trouble.
