Is there a way to get the threads that I am in with new posts to "shade" like they were before? A light light blue would suffice. I liked that option. But if it isnt something that is possible I'll just have to read the tiny "new" part. Also, not all of the sites from the previous YGG Sites are in the directory.
Other than that...Site is great!

SSM - it still does that, at least it's working for me :)
It shades blue.
One of my favorite features of the new YGG is the ability to comment on ANYTHING, most importantly the Entreprenews posts.

haha, you're right it does do it. It is so subtle tho that I didnt notice it earlier. I see it now...and it's light light blue, like I suggested...maybe I did see it?

In regards to the shading of threads with new posts, if your monitor brightness and contrast is set pretty high it lightens the blue background quite a bit. My Dell monitor makes it twice as light while my Samsung leaves it the nice blue it is.
For signatures, being that the width of the discussion area is a little narrower it doesn't leave a ton of room for signatures without them running to a second or third line.
While we were building this I enabled them and they didn't look too great. When at the bottom of every post and every block quote, they somewhat breakup the discussion.
We're going to do everything we can to get our Directory up to at least a page rank of 6 so it helps everyone get some good linkage in search engines. For now, that'll be a replacement for signatures.
As we build upon everything, if we're able to find a way to bring them back without killing the look, we definitely will. :)

Yes, using a light grey and adding a top-border would help separate it a bit. After we finish all the stuff left on our fix list I'll test the signatures and see if I can get them to work without making the discussions look cluttered.

Just FYI - I've added a new extension that allows you to upload your avatar/account pic and have it hosted on YGG's servers. We had this before but had to disable it due to some CSS issues. I've just fixed them and it's ready to go.
Oh, and the account picture can now be 485x364 which should be an easy scale down from standard digi-cam pics.

There's a general search built in to do just that. Click on the Search link at the top of the forum, then click the Users radio button and search away.
I just gave it a try and found a CSS bug in the search results for users. lol. We'll have to fix that when we get time.

BTW Congrats on your RSS guys! It seems like you've managed to already get 30 or 40 subscribers since the relaunch. That's really quite good considering it took me a few months to hit that when I first launched my blog. Keep up the growth!
