General Business: I love FireFox 2.0

So I just downloaded the new version a few minutes ago and added some useful add ons. Needless to say I love the fact that it spell checks my internet writing as I type. Also, I dig the small and out of the way weather radar option/forecast, and the best of all is Cooliris Previews (pretty sweet although it might reduce actual page hits for some ppl) considering it opens an auxiliary window into what you are thinking about clicking on.
So if you haven't downloaded it yet, and your browser keeps directing you to their download page every time you open it up for a week straight (like me) you should check it out. Blows anything IE will ever put out. Oh, and it doesn't crash my computer like IE does. And holy crap, I just noticed you can "Undo Close Tab" for those times I get click happy.

what are some of the add ons you added. Let's start a list of cool ones
I added
mozilla seo: gives you inbound links, age, and pr ranks
-
I added
Adblock Plus (just disabled it because I noticed it blocks adsense/adbrite/adengage...not cool!)
Cooliris Previews (My vote for best of show)
Download Status Bar (havent used it yet)
ForecastFox/Weather
GoogleToolbar (who doesnt have this?)
BlueOrganizer (disabled it because I didnt like it) -
I had to roll back a couple months ago to 1.5.0.8 because 2.0 was giving me some problems with how it was rendering stylesheets. I'll give it another try when I get a chance.
The extensions I currently use are:
Adsense Notifier
coComment
FlashGot
Gmail Notifier
Greasemonkey
PDF Download
StumbleUpon
Google Web Accelerator -
Travis - glad you posted, no I am running the adsense notifier. Love it.

Firefox for my Intel MacBook isn't extremely stable so I don't use it at all. I stick to Safari, it never crashes.
-
Unstable? That's interesting. My MacbookPro doesn't seem to have any issues, upgrading from a Powerbook. I mean, its crashed once or twice after loading a bad flash page but I can give it some space since I have 100 tabs open right now. Luckily the session restore works well.
-
Maybe I'm just less tolerant. Safari is damn near bulletproof and I find myself staring at fewer spinning beach balls with it. Maybe I'll give it another go and see how I like it. I installed some extensions for Safari that got rid of the brushed metal look and changed some buttons around, movable tabs, etc. etc. - so it's got all the functionality that I lacked in comparison to firefox (for me, that is).
-
I currently just use FoxMarks... a God send of a tool... keeps my bookmarks up to date over 3 computers (work, laptop, desktop).
-
Adblock Plus, is the most usefull addon i find. Along with Gmail and Yahoo notifiers and coloured tabs.
I love firefox. -

I love firefox.Adblock blocked adsense and any other ad service running on websites. I hate that considering that is my only current 'online' income.

Yes, blocking ads is a horrible idea. What's wrong with you Alex?!? lol

I digg it too. I got to stop using IE fully now, do not know why I still use it I guess it is because I am so used to it.
Go FF!

I second that. You're putting your peers out of business! :)

I deleted mine. Mainly because it crashed my computer about once a week. And also because it sucked.

When we were building this version of YGG I had to test it in four different versions of IE to see how it
killedrenderred the css. Barrels of fun. That's the only reason I'd ever use it. If you ever need to test your sites there's a cool little app called MultipleIEs which lets you install and run several versions of IE.

It's sad that there even need to exist such a program.
-
Ok, firefox issue here - I have to click links at least five times before firefox actually thinks about loading the page.
Any known fixes? This happened after I cleared my cache/cookies/history last night if that helps.
-
Never heard of such a problem.
Restart your computer and try it again. If it doesn't fix it, do a system restore to yesterday and see if it's okay before you cleared your cache.
If neither of those work try reinstalling Firefox.
