Anyone play Sport? I know a coujple of people here are paintball fans.

I love soccer, I paly for the Mens B division Team at my club, and I am setting up two indoor soccer teams from guys from my work.

    Anyone else love sport.

(I was watching a news report on how some people believe that it is Un-Australian to not like sport, is it anything like that in America?)

Is yelling at the tv during hockey season considered a sport? I do that very well.

Educate me here.... you say Sport like it is a game all in itself?

Is it? Or are you asking if people plays sports (of any kind)

Karen sorry to be dense today

people in massachusetts live by our pro teams (sox, celts, pats, and b's) (and why not, we put everyone else to shame), and I've actually seen, and been a part of, schoolyard brawls over a sox/yankees argument. And another thing about the Red Sox, the tickets for the entire season sell out in about 45 minutes. yeah, we're all crazy.

for local sports, for the most part, our high school hasn't won a thing for years, up until this june, when we came from the worst seed in the worst bracket, beat a pitcher who was taken in the june draft, and went on to win the first state championship in school history. and that'll probably be it for local highlights for as long as I'm there...

In Atlanta we are pretty apathetic. (Though I'm a fan of hockey, basketball, baseball and football- NFL not soccer). Our pro baseball team has won the division title 13 straight years but we can't even sell out the playoff games. And our basketball and hockey teams aren't great, but we do have Michael Vick. And what more do you need than Michael Vick?

well, jimi, I'd take Tom Brady and 3 out of the last 4 super bowls over the awfully overrated Vick and his empty fingers...

And Tom, Michael Vick is a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons american football team... apart from being able to scramble out of the pocket, he's really not that special at all...

You had better hope Brady doesn't have a stroke like Bruschi. I mean, to be fair, Vick has crap receivers in ATL, and his running makes him the most feared player in the league (except for possibly Manning.) I would rather have Vick than Brady.

give me the names of the patriots receivers! they arent very good either! and until Vick has one championship (which he'll never get because he puts himself over his teammates) the argument is moot. moot i tell you! and that Bruschi jab = not cool.

You a fan of cricket, Tom? Did you hear of the rumor involving the MLB Boston Red Sox and a certain cricket player (don't remember the name)

Yeah, sorry about the Bruschi thing, that wasn't nice. Pats Receivers: David Givens, Deion Branch, Troy Brown (but he's gone now I think), Eugene Baker, Bethel Johnson, and you signed Tim Dwight, right?

And Vick, IMO, doesn't put himself above the other players- can you be more specific with what you mean there?

I'm a Steelers fan :) Ben Roethlisberger is a great quarterback - even if a lot of people think he's overrated. He has a great O-Line and the Steelers defense was amazing last year.

Not sure if they can go 15-1 in the regular season again, but 12-4 is definitely not out of reach.

I hate the Patriots :) I enjoy watching the Red Sox, but I'm a Cincinnati Reds fan.

Eli Manning is in the NFL because of his brother and his dad. He is talented, but doesn't desreve the attention he's getting.

He thinks he can waltz through the NFL without working hard.

Played a great round of golf today. Only get out about a dozen or so times a season. And when we've got 2 feet of snow every winter, I'm in the rink playing left wing.
