    Hi YGG'ers,

It has been 3 weeks since I first posted about theLectureNotes.com. I have been working hard to get this project off the ground, but my financial condition doesn't allow me to. I tried borrowing money from friends but in vain.
I know there are million entrepreneurs out there looking for investements in their start-ups but to be honest I am not from that lot. I am sure that investing in my idea will truly reap huge gains and I am not exaggerating. I need an initial investment of atleast $3900. The division of the fund will be as follows:-

    Web design /Maintenace: $1200

Web service Promotion & Marketing: $1500

Renting server space (Dedicated Hosting): $1200 (*Optional)

The renting of a dedicated server is totally optional and will depend on the traffic. If the fund is not used for servers then it will be directed towards Web Promotion and Marketing.

Hence, I request everybody on YGG.com and everywhere else to please look into this matter and help me out, even referring to other VC's/Angel Investors would help me a lot. I can be contacted at utkarsh.s@thelecturenotes.com. I am based in the UK.

    Thank you,

    Regards,
    Utkarsh Sinha

Uktarsh, How are you going to make your money back on this project? and what stake in the company would the $3900 entitle an investor to?

Just noticed you were based in the UK. If you were in the US, Prosper would be a great way for you to raise what you're after.

Hi fattony (arn't you on YE.com as well?)

Anyways, the main source of revenue for the web service will be from adverts by well established businesses only. But theres one more thing, there wont be any pop-ups, or banner ads, instead theLectureNotes.com will allow only university targeting ads, and will preferably use e-Fliers to target the university which the business wants.
