It is the age of gadgets. We are in an area where if you hesitate you’ll be left in cyber dust. The beginning entrepreneur is caught in a difficult battle between those who refuse to move with the times and the ones who are only interested in the “what’s next”. So what do you do and how do you do it?

There is no way around it. You must be progressive in your presentation in order to be successful. The way you can persuade the stubborn is by slowly upgrading your services. This way you can keep them interested while not interfering with the integrity of your service. This should allow for an easy transition without the potential of losing a valued customer.

Now, on to the good stuff! You’ve pleased your clients with traditional ideas, so how do you wow those who are into the now? Well good thing 2010 is the year of the tablet. These mobile devices allow for mobility and are extremely eye catching. Your choice depends on what you believe is essential in your line of work and for your client.

Now the most popular tablet is currently the iPad. It is an amazing Internet browsing device but it is just that, an Internet browsing device. It runs a mobile operating system. It does have many apps that could be used in place of some features brought in by a computer’s os but it cannot replace them. For instance, those of us who are in the design field are kinda of left out. Our livelihood depends on the Creative Suites. There are apps that can be used to curb our appetites but the hunger is still there. It would also be a great device for presentation along side a projector. Apple connector cables pending.

Another lesser known tablet is brought to us by Asus. The Eee Pad 121. Let me go on record to warn you that this is a future purchase of mine. I hope my biases won’t deter anyone from looking into this device themselves. Asus is a manufacturer of motherboards. This alone should peak your interests. A company that makes computer components is making a tablet? Well my fancy was thoroughly tickled. This tablet comes with a keyboard that allows it to double as a laptop. Ok, enough drooling. This device comes with windows 7. I know some may not like that feature but you get the mobility of a tablet with the features of a conventional computer. Its everything you need from presentations to appeal all rolled up in this masterpiece. My money, literally, is banking on this tablet.

Hopefully I’ve enlightened some of you misguided entrepreneurs on a course to take with your next presentation device. And with any gadget you must respect the technology and effort that went into it’s production.
