Ok - So after many months of doing about every possible way of advertising i have decided that CPO and CPS is easily the best - espcially for a start up that doesnt have the money to throw into heavy marketing in the begining. I figured i would list what i have done or am going to do --- basically i think a list on YGG here would be beneficial for future browsers, but also i am asking everyone if they know anymore CPO or CPS outlets to also list them and tell a little about them. Keep in mind i have doen lots of research on these and it took me a long time -- so enjoy the free info
Affiliate Program - i wont get much into this as most people know what they are. I will however show you the best place to start to get a bunch of good affiliates at the start -- www.abestweb.com has a program that for 50 dollars you can make a post about your program and basically "sell" your program to the members. This website is home of all the best affiliates. They also have a mass email that can go out and that is 2,000 dollars. I heard it is very effective. I havent done it - i have just done the 50 dollar post and that was effective.
Altura International - They own shop.com, catalogcity.com, etc. - Easily one of the largest marketplace online. They offer a CPO program - they also offer guarnatee amount of sales based on the commision you pay per order -- for example i am set on the 15% level and they will guarantee me 100,000 a year in sales. Only downfall is there is a 5,000 intergration fee - but there is ways around that
Amazon.com Zshops - another CPO program and big marketplace - 30 dollars a month last time i checked. Various commison rates per market and category.
Giveanything.com - neat program, great people running the company and even in my market it brings in sales (people get gift cert. as gifts - didnt think they would spend there gift on there pet as much) 15% commision they get from sales.
If anyone can think of anymore good ones list them here. Let see how long we can get the list _________________ Joey Pomerenke

With regards to the abestweb.com post, did you find the quality of affiliates was good? Several affiliates sign up for programs but eventually do nothing with it. I guess that wasn't the case for your program?
Nothing to add to the list but great info Joey! |

I have a good friend who is a big affiliate manager and he recomended the site because some of the best affiliates roam there -- and yes there a lot of good ones there -- but even if ones that arent good sign upit dont cost you anything -- plus affiliate advertising is one of the cheapest ways to brand on the internet _________________ Joey Pomerenke
