I just wanted to congratulate Barack Obama on his presidential nomination last night. I look forward to the changes he looks to bring to the US. I also want to congratulate John McCain on a well run campaign. I know a lot of my friends here in Canada were watching the results as well!
I also am excited there was a record turnout at the polls this election. It is so important to get out and vote, have your voice heard, its your future!
Great job by both parties, and good luck USA!

Wow it has been awhile, life has taken its toll on me the last couple months and I think I am ready to start plugging away at this blog again. I have been contacted by quite a few people asking what has been happening with YGG over the past few months, all I can say is life has happened. It all started with the death of Courtney’s grandma, which took a great toll on the family, our home life and my time, preventing me from really spending the time the writing the blog needed.
Then I took a new job, same industry but a different company. I can honestly say that after my first month there it has stirred the writing forces in my head again. I am really enjoying the way they do business and treat their employees, dignity and respect towards your workers goes a long way!
My next series of articles will be comparison on how to not run a business against how you should operate a business. I will be drawing from past experiences as my inspiration to write. I will also try and feature the current owners of the company that I work for, who I work beside everyday as they mentor and teach. A huge bonus is that they are YGGers to the bone.
So look forward to this new set of articles, I will be back writing regularly myself for now, if anyone else wants to contribute please let me know. I am making a personal dedication to update the blog three times a week myself, hold me to it guys and gals! Also I would like to thank all the understanding people that have been asking about YGG and spurring me to start updating it again, thanks for the support!
This was one of the most exciting things I have come across in a long time. It was recently brought to my attention that YGG was featured in an article about entrepreneurship on the New York Times! I have had a lot of calls and emails from the article that was featured on Febuary 20, 2008, what a great feeling and accomplishment.
Here is the part of the article we are in:
For those who want to skip the corporate trenches and go right to being the boss, there is younggogetter.com, run by three small-business owners in their 20s.
One is Aaron Kuroiwa, who operates LeTranslator, an online business and legal language translation service, and gives concrete advice — like his recent posting of three steps to becoming more productive.
Also great job Aaron on the awesome article that they read and liked, you got your name in there! You had a great article and i am glad it was recognized appropriately.
HERE is a link to the article if you are looking to read it.
Have a great day everyone and we here at YGG are very excited about the future!
The last two weeks have been trying weeks for us here at Younggogetter. Transferring the files from one server to another to complete the purchase has been anything but easy. Corrupted files and organizing a few people who all have busy schedules is not an easy task.
Lorren Biffin
He made this all possible, taking care of it days that I was not available and any time I needed him. Thanks for all the hard work Lorren.
Eric Windsor
Without him we wouldn’t have the files! And I am sure he is happy it is all done so we will stop harrassing him now!
Now we can get back to our regular posting and commenting. I am really sorry about the delay and I want to thank everyone for their concern over the past two weeks.
Look forward to new content starting right away!
