That is a great point to add. You can get some great traffic by capitalizing on long-tail keywords that the competition is overlooking.

Excellent article and extremely true. I would like to add one thing to this if I may?

When using the Google Adwords Keyword Suggestion Tool. You will notice a column that says “Advertiser Competition”. This is self explanatory. You will also notice a two other sections about “Search Volume”.

What I do is look for keywords with little to no Advertiser Competition and than I look for the ones that have a high search volume. Than, I setup my AdWords account with these keywords. You will be amazed at how much traffic you get from doing this and you typically only pay $.05 – $.10 per click because of low advertiser competition. You will also be ranked in the top 5 for a lot of these keywords.

It is an excellent strategy and I hope this helps some people decrease their advertising expenses and increase profit.
