For all the Twitter-ers

If you love to share the details of your life through Twitter, you’ll love this handy tool. TwitterMail creates an e-mail address for your twitter account, which will automatically post an entry on twitter when you send an e-mail to it.
You’ll want to keep your TwitterMail address a secret though, as it enables anyone that knows it to post to your Twitter account. Other than this potential pitfall, TwitterMail is a handy tool for Twitter-ers.

Hmm… that pitfall is an easy fix.
When they register a user to a TwitterMail address, just ensure that the account only posts messages from a specified (or list of) e-mail address.
This would mean that in order to get around the system, a person would have to know both the TwitterMail address and the associated real e-mail address, and then spoof it.

That’s kind of nifty if you tweet from somewhere other than your own computer, but I’m always on my laptop and just use Twitterific (Mac only).
