Bill Gates really is a likeable geek

January 30th, 2007 by Eric

Bill Gates is no Steve Jobs when it comes to promoting and public speaking, but he really is more likable. Check out Bill Gates on The Daily Show promoting Windows Vista. And jet packs. And robots.

That was actually quite insightful. Wow. It is slightly disappointing that he didn’t attempt a tech demo, maybe voice recognition? :P

  2. Travis Says:

His exit signified the true geek in him. His ability to walk off air when he feels appropriate, that’s powerful confusion.

  3. Aaron Says:

If it was based on personality alone I would buy from Bill Gates. Plus he is doing some great things in the world with all his money. Really Great.

Travis, I also thought it was hilarious that the true geek in him shined and he just walked off the stage. The geek in him doesn’t fully get all of the social cues the rest of us do.

The video cuts off after 1 minute or so and goes to the “share” screen at the end of videos. Anyone know whats up?

  5. Eric Says:

    It’s working fine for me…

Great interview – it was funny seeing him walk off at the end. He really does have a nice personality.
